Wall thicknesses up to 60 mm or more are not uncommon. Specially developed welding technology including sophisticated devices are used to achieve an optimal quality and to reduce expensive re-work to a minimum.
Diameters up to approximately 7 m, lengths of up to 45 m and up to 170 tons can be manufactured in one unit.
Components exceeding these dimensions are welded at Linde workshops near harbour respectively on site. Our design and calculations are based on international standards and regulations.
