Linde has established its reputation as a valuable contractor in the engineering, procurement and construction industry. Based on our experience with licensed technologies of Univation Technologies, Dow and Ineos we offer superior engineered plants for the production of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) customised to the needs of our clients. Over the past 10 years, PE and PP plants with almost 2 millon tons per year were engineered by Linde and are in construction or in successful operation.

Linde can rely on executed PE and PP projects in various countries all around the world. In 2009, Linde commissioned the 800,000 tons per year world scale PE plant for SHARQ, a joint venture between Sabic and a consortium of Japanese companies in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. End of 2009, Linde signed an EPC contract for a 500,000 tons per year Innovene PP plant with Sibur in Tobolsk, Russian Federation financed through an Euler-Hermes covered loan.
