Dr. Alexander Unterschuetz leads Plant Components at Engineering for Linde plc.
He joined Linde’s corporate strategy department in 2010 and was appointed Head of Corporate Strategy in 2011. Subsequently he was building up and heading the Performance Transformation department to drive the global standardization and sustainable improvement of Linde’s business processes.
In 2016 Alexander Unterschuetz joined the Engineering Division and became Head of Manufacturing and General Manager of the Schalchen Plant.
Prior to joining Linde, he worked at McKinsey & Company as an Associate Principal in the automotive industry.
Alexander Unterschuetz holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering and management from the Technical University of Karlsruhe, Germany. He completed a PhD in Economics at the Otto Beisheim School of Management (WHU) in Vallendar, Germany.
