HYDROPRIME® hydrogen generators using steam-methane reforming

Linde Engineering has developed an innovative line of compact, flexible and cost-effective hydrogen generators based on proven steam-methane reforming technology.

Hydro-Chem, part of Linde Engineering, has developed an innovative new series of hydrogen generators called HYDROPRIME®. Based on proven steam-methane reforming technology, these new plants offer many advantages over traditional supply modes such as electrolytic plants, conventional steam methane plants and truck-delivered bulk hydrogen.

  • Hydrogen capacities from 0.3 – 0.9 MM SCFD (330 – 1,000 Nm³/h)

    • Ultra-high purity (99.999+%)

    • Hydrogen product at 200 psig (13.8 barg) - reduced compression cost

  • High thermal efficiency and low utility consumption for low operating cost

  • High reliability enabling greater supply security, with backup bulk systems

  • Superior environmental and improved safety performance
